UTRASOUND

It's facinating when having your ultrasound. A preciouse little baby growing inside a mothers womb. It is good too because doctors can see if the baby is growing well inside the womb. They also take measurments of the baby to see how many weeks you are during pregnancy. It also can determine if something goes wrong with the development. The best of is that knowing the sex of the baby .. I just recently found out that I'm going to have my first little girl.. Tears of joy... Again Technology is also being used.. Even for the precious moments in your lives.. :)

CELL PHONES

Everyone has a cell phone right now and people are already hooked on texting. We went from cord phones to cordless and from cellphone to texting. Before taking this Tech. course I haven't noticed how Technology changed everything and fast too. rarely you see people talking on the phone and seeing more texting on their phones even going on line .. Web browsing on their phones.. Changing fast , what will they come up with next.

ON STAR

I know that I have talked about satelite radio but having ON STAR on your vehicle is best to have especially when you love to travel or when you need help ON STAR is always there when you need any kind of help.. I have had THE ON STAR on my vehicle and I feel safe when I'm on the road. The ON STAR helps you when you are lost - they can help with your directions because they know where you are. When there is an emergency there is the red cross button for when you have an accident or when you see an accident help is always there. It's best when you don't even have a cell phone you would just have to press the botton in your car. If you have no cell phone there is already a phone that is built in your ON STAR just press the phone button and dial (say) the number and dial . Hands on free and both hands on the wheel .. won't even disturb your driving.. If you don't have THE ON STAR button I would recomend it.. You feel safe in your own vehicle.

CNN NANNY CAM

I know that there are video cam that we can install anywhere and look at it when we want to view it... I was watching CNN and that's when it hit me nanny viewing on tv doing most frightening thing to the baby... The mother of the children was able to view it at her work and when she saw this she was rushing home to save her baby's .. Horrifiying thing to see your nanny negleting/abusing your children away from your home.. Technology is very useful now a days now that I can istall my own nanny cam at my own home and would be able to go to work and still see what is going on in my own home.. It may be frightnening but it's good to know what is going on. Should have seen this on CNN that really moved me.. Thank god for technology.

Facebook

Ahhhh Facebook is one popular thing to have now .. I just recently had facebook for a couple of months now.. So many things to do on it like adding funwalls , best friend , the family tree, sticky notes , drinks and more that you can think of. I found a lot my old friends from high school and now we keep in touch without running up my phone bills.. I also paste pictures on my facebook for others to see as well. Sometimes there is too much to have on facebook and it's good think that I can manage my own fix it the way I wanted to. It's like having my own web page .. Is it?

ON LINE BANKING

On line banking very good to have when you are always on the go and have no time waiting in the line at the bank .. I have on line banking , I use it alot because I work a lot and just don't have the time to go to the bank . I only have 1 hour for lunch and don't plan on waiting in the for half an hour. I have so little time during the day and the banks always close early anyway I can't even go to the bank after work at all. So when I have time at nights thats when I do my on line banking. I get to pay my bills , check my monthly status of my accounts and also transfer money.. Nobody gets to see my bills just me .. I sometimes get embarrest if I'm late paying my bill and going to the bank. This way It's private for me only.. If I didn't have on line banking I'd be late on my bills or be waisting a lot of time at the bank....

VIDEO CONFERENCE

Wow I never thought I'd ever be taking my BED on video conference I always thought that if I wanted to get ahead is by leaving my home and going to school elsewhere. Technology is good in ways and not so good in others.

Negative ways : Is when we loose signals and class ended early or waiting for the signal to come back again. If we would have gone home early we would have to make up for that class we would miss. There are also sometimes having to have technical difficulties like having no sound or cannot see the display on screen when the teacher is showing us something.. Especially the presentations ... I would have to love to see the other presentations on screen...

Positive ways : The really good positive thing about this video conferencing is that I don't have to go away to get my education.. Don't have to move my family and having them to change schools as well... I can still have my job because our classes is only at nights.. I can easily ask for help in my class room when needed because there are not that many of us so I feel comfortable.. Oh yeah not standing up in front of the class with lots of faces looking at me... I'm so shy it is not funny... but I get through them.. My home , My job and My Education Is good to have all at the same time...
